La Soeur Cadette Melon Blanc

La Soeur Cadette is a favourite of ours. Valentin Montanet is a genius of a wine maker who learned his craft at Raveneau, one of the greatest Chardonnay producers of all time. 

This is interesting. Melon Blanc is the variety, the grape found in Muscadet in the Loire Valley. Melon de Bourgogne vines are as rare as hens teetch. This wine offers up the same taught minerality as Muscadet but with a certain Burgundian roundness, with a racy finish. STSWine
