Pax Mahle 'Sonoma Coast' Syrah 2020

There is smoke taint on this wine - let's just get that out in the open and admit it. Amazingly.....it works. Devastating fires that destroyed almost the entire vintage, but this cuvee from the coastal sites of Sonoma has folded as slight campfire character into it's rustic Northern Rhone style smokey bacon fruit and careful oak. I love this wine, its delicious! STSWine

Aromas of black pepper, Santa Rosa plum, blackberries, black olives and fresh pomegranate. Textured and loaded with spicy black, exotic blue and vibrant red fruits, black pepper and white flowers. Medium bodied and everything you’d expect from cool climate Syrah with the tell-tale pepper, spice and exotic flavors.
