Barolo Passione di Re Gabriele Scaglione left the world of wine marketing to return to his roots in Piedmont. He makes this wine from 2.5 acres of vines in La Morra, fermenting the fruit with ambient yeasts with a relatively short (10- to 15-day) maceration, then aging the wine for two years in Slavonian oak casks.
